Depending on what you use, we may process:
We use this information only for legitimate centre purposes, for example: replying to enquiries; placing you in the right level or programme; running the placement test and keeping records; operating classes and administration; improving the website; and meeting safety or legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data to third parties for their marketing.
Our project may store or sync content using cloud services (for example Google Firebase) configured for the centre, including site text, placement-related data, or messages, depending on how the system is set up. Data may be processed on servers outside Myanmar. We choose reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information.
Authorised Myanmar New Era staff (and, where relevant, teachers or administrators with accounts) can access data they need for teaching, placement, communication, or system maintenance. Service providers (such as hosting or email) may process data only to provide their service to us.
We keep information for as long as needed for the purposes above, for example while you are a prospective or enrolled learner, or as required for records, tax, or dispute resolution. When no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it where practicable.
You may contact us to ask what we hold about you, to correct obvious mistakes, or to object where local law allows. For account-based areas, some details must stay accurate for safety and class operation.
If information relates to a learner who is a minor, a parent or guardian should be involved where appropriate. If you believe we have collected a child’s data without proper authority, contact us and we will review.
We may update this policy when our website, placement test, or management tools change. The “Last updated” line will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised notice where the law allows.
